What We Do

Schiff's PTO is an active and vital community within the school.

Made up of parents and community members like you, we partner with Schiff in providing the best education possible for our children.

By supporting teachers and staff, hosting family nights, providing the manpower necessary to run programs and events, and fundraising for "big ticket" purchases the school could not otherwise afford, Schiff's PTO contributes to an effective and nurturing school environment for our children.

You'll see the results as soon as you arrive on campus. Thanks to the generosity of Schiff's community, PTO funds have paid for:

the playground and shade structures
landscaping around the marquee and school entrance
a math lab
a science lab
a literacy library for every grade level
a school broadcasting system, used for the student-run Finz TV show each morning
smart boards throughout the school
a sound system for the school stage
classroom technology: iPads, clickers, Mobi interactive whiteboards, laptops, and more
annual teacher stipends to purchase classroom supplies
the Sand Dollar store to reward kids for their great choices
two classroom parties for every child
annual field trips for every child
edible garden classroom space

We've accomplished all this is eight short years. With your support, we can do even more!
